Old Bear Farm

1 hour lesson - $65 (required for all new students getting orientated, beginners, and those who need more assistance such as younger riders); 5 lesson package - $275 paid in advance for 5 lessons (that’s $55 per lesson).

35-45 minute lesson - $45 (for more advanced students capable of getting ready on their own, this consists of just the riding time, you are responsible for tacking up etc); 5 lesson package - $200 paid in advance for 5 lessons (that’s $40 per lesson).

Beginner lesson package: offered 1 time for new (beginner) students - $150 for 3 lessons paid up front (that’s $50 each for your first 3 lessons) and includes initial consultation and our “Horses for Beginners” booklet to help get you started.

$30 per hour, must schedule it in advance (usually you can just contact me that morning) - gives you a chance to practice on your own in between lessons! (riders must be able to groom/tack/ride at the walk and trot independently)

Boarding (not available yet but coming soon) and Leasing – based on how many days riding per week - ask for prices… (riders must be able to groom/tack/ride at the walk and trot independently)

I am always looking for volunteers to help at the barn, and will offer discounts on lessons/riding in exchange.  Although it is actual “work”, most find working at the barn rewarding and relaxing and a good chance to spend more time with the horses, and a good learning experience.  Ask for details!

We also offer custom jumps and other crafts such as horse shoe photo frames - as we have just moved in here, the shop is not set up yet, I will post info when this becomes available!
